You’ll travel approximately 220 km through the peaceful desert landscape to reach Mount Sinai — one of the most sacred mountains in the world.

Climbing Mount Sinai

Your climb begins around 1:00 a.m. under the starry desert sky.

The journey to the summit is about 7 km long, followed by 750 stone steps leading to the top.

The hike typically takes 3–4 hours and is guided by a friendly local Bedouin, with several stops for rest and tea along the way.

You’ll find small mountain huts selling warm Egyptian tea, snacks, and cold drinks — the perfect way to recharge as you ascend through the crisp night air.
